October

Saturday 8 – We host our monthly knit and natter, in our social space in the bakery. Run by Elaine of BaaBaaBrighouse, it’s a friendly and welcoming small group of local knitters, and crocheters, and even some sewers have popped along.

Wednesdays throughout October – Order by Monday evening and then collect your bread order, via Food Assembly in Halifax, between 4 – 6pm at Food Assembly, Halifax

PS don’t forget our social space is open every Saturday morning 10 – 12. There’s coffee and tea available and some bread to toast. Why not pop in, with a friend (not obligatory!) and enjoy a coffee and some toast. All we ask is that you consider leaving a donation.

May Special

Our May special will be a 100% Spelt and Honey loaf.

If you haven’t tried a spelt loaf before, Spelt flour is one of the most popular whole grain, non-wheat flours available. Spelt has been used since Roman times and has a lovely nutty flavour combined with a slight sweetness from the honey in the loaf.

Pop along to the bakery on a Saturday to try one for yourself.

February Special

Red onion and rye is our February special and its delicious (if we do say so ourselves!). Light and flavoursome…and available fromRyecorn Wholefoods Ltd, Ravello Deli and Cafe, Huddersfield Veg Man, Rainbow Health Foods and from us!

Christmas Markets

We’re out and about at plenty of markets in the run up to Christmas. This Saturday we’re at Lindley and Crossley Heath with a range of breads, gifts for bakers and our seasonal vouchers. For more details of our upcoming markets and community drop ins visit the events page of our website
